“Both the Emil Bach House and Lang House are breathtaking – they make for an iconic backdrop that's perfect for a more intimate celebration. Beyond that, we loved that we had both houses for the entire weekend. Our family loved being able to stay together on site, and we loved that we didn’t have to coordinate the logistics of going from place to place.”
“Lang House is a dream -- a truly beautiful house, large, comfortable, great location. The bathrooms are especially gorgeous, but really the whole house is just lovely. They are also great to work with. Perfect!”
“Couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our intimate wedding! We loved having the Bach and Lang Houses as our home base for the weekend, and had our family by our sides during such an important time. The properties are beautiful, timeless, perfect for guests of all ages, and fully equipped with any and all amenities you could ask for.”
“Our stay at Emil Bach House was just Amazing!!! This house is a masterpiece! Located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful landscape near the lake and most important with a 5 star hotel amenities and cleanliness! A must visit!!”
Emil Bach House
Emil Bach House is a historic landmark designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built in 1915 for the Bach family. Located near the shores of Lake Michigan on Chicago’s north side, the home is a showcase of elements common to the prairie-style. The Bach House also points to future stylistic directions that the architect’s work would take, including the home’s contained geometry, efficient scale and modern window designs.
Lang House Chicago
Lang House Chicago is known as an elongated American Foursquare home originally built as a country retreat for city dwellers seeking a respite from urban life. Today, Lang House is a portal to Chicago’s excitement, but it’s still a retreat, too. A welcome sight after a long day of sightseeing, shopping or meetings.
